Well, I just brewed my first beer on my equipment. Pretty stoked about it. I made a light ale kit that I got with my equipment set up and it went really smooth (so I thought). I was drinking some homebrew I made on some friend's equipment and it was a blast. The only big mistake I think I made (knock on wood), is I didn't let the trub settle out from the cooling before I racked to my primary. I have alot of settlement already in my primary, but I figured I would relax and just see what happens. It was an extract kit and I think more water boiled off that should have. I started with 6 gallons for my boil and I think I have just under 5 in the bucket fermenting ( I forgot to mark my carboy to see how much I really had). I am really excited about it and will let you know how it turns out. Just wanted to post it on the site. LET the obsession begin. :drunk: Cheers
