First label (rough draft)

I have a hard enough time just stamping the cap of my brew to tell the difference, let alone put a label on them............let alone putting a neck label on them!!

I keg most of my beer, except for stuff that needs to bottle condition a long time. I probably will only label a 6 pack or so, just to show off. I'm lazy.:cross:

I'm so not creative! I can't even come up with good names for my brews. Labels? OMG I don't think so! I wish I had the creativity of some of the folks in here.

i got it... it needs a line of copy

"all work and no play makes jack a dull boy" printed all over the bottle in typewritter style

or how about those freaky twin girls?

I had thought about having the twins peeking out from around the edge of the label...the typewriter words are a good idea too.

Ok, made a few changes, should show up in post #1. I'm pretty happy with it now. I have no idea what the bar code goes to - I got it off of google. Maybe it's something cool, like canned peas.

Labels are easy to make on your PC.

Look in the template library. Avery Label# 6464 or 05444

Buy the paper at Staples/Office Max Etc.

Avery has a lot of labels that can be feed into a inkjet/laser printer. Regardless of what size you like, I would look for removable labels. They're easy to pull off.

I use MSWord. Its so simple. I usually put the label design on the front and recipe info on the back label and dates, brewed, born on, best if drank between....

BTW - Just got a 6464 label pack w/ free label making software!
