OK - this is my first fruit beer (fourth beer altogether). I brewed a batch loosley following a fruit beer base recipe. It is mostly Belgian pils and vienna malt with a wyeast saison. One thing led to another (my second AG brew) and I ended up with a little over 4 gallons post boil. I was planning on adding pomegranate juice (about 1.5 gallons) but I'm not sure if I should just pour this on top of the primary (in an ale pail) or if I need to put it in seperate fermenter. If I do the seperate fermenter, should I add the juice first and then put the beer on top? Should I try to mix it?
