Hi Guys n Gals, this is my first post to this post, as I am also new to home brewing. So last week, I followed a recipe for a pumpkin cider. Got the 5 gallons of cider from a local place, treated it with campden tablets and let it sit for a few days to kill any wild yeast. Once I finally pitched the yeast, used a champagne yeast, I had no activity for a couple of days so I added a yeast nurtrient to it saturday night and late last night(sunday) I finally got some activity in the airlock. I was wondering if anyone else has ever experienced anything like this, and if I should plan on doing anything special with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
