Ive got an American Barley Wine (1.095) busy fermenting with 9097 Brett. blend.

For big ales I normally do 1 month primary, 2 month secondary and 3 months in the bottle.
Is there anything I should do differently considering the Brett ?

Afterwards can I wash the yeast as per normal ?

Be very certain that the gravity has stopped decreasing before you bottle. Brett takes a long time to fully attenuate and can cause bottle bombs. You'll probably also want to bottle condition longer to balance out the brett-itude.

Can't comment on washing. I personally wouldn't do it - I throw out anything plastic that touches a brett beer because I'm so paranoid about cross-contamination.

You will probably be looking at a 6-12 month secondary with brett. It takes a very long time to attenuate.

Yeah you can wash the yeast. but you will probably get a small amount of saccharomyces that carried over from the primary.

I've read it over and over. Even Wyeast says it on their site somewhere. Don't reuse yeast used on a big beer. It's always taxing on yeast to ferment a big beer. Too much chance of mutation and strong off flavors. Your call.
