First bottling success!

Well last night we successfully filled 30 22oz bottles and what a great sight that is to see sitting on my shelf in the basement. I thought waiting for fermentation was going to be tough but this is going to be brutal... First batch was an amber ale and the smell of it was just incredible, and we also have a batch of bitter orange and lemon summer ale that will be ready to bottle by Sunday, I love my new hobby!

Wow, you got a lot out of that batch! Its tough waiting, but I popped my first after being in the bottle for 6 days, tasted fine and was carbed pretty good. I can't say I'll be doing the same with my RIS, lol. Ya the brewing is an addiction. I didn't want to brew anything for a while after my hefe, but I probably will in a few weeks as I found a recipe looks amazing, so I will do a small test batch.
