So... My first try is in drinking shape now. This was my first foray into all grain brewing and I got some good advice and learned some good lessons.

It all started here:
https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f244/simple-recipe-my-first-biab-494091/

I got interrupted several times during the fermentation and ended up with about 5 weeks in the primary before cold crashing for about a week and then force carb / kegging. The OG was 1.055 and the FG before kegging was 1.019. I thought I'd get more attenuation but, frankly I do not care... This might be the most delicious beverage I have ever encountered. The Amarillo hops are divine and the color and clarity are amazing. This simple SMaSH is blowing my mind. I am thoroughly psyched and ready to do another BIAB.

it is good. I don't know why sideways, but it is good.

Good work...you may be pleasantly surprised, another week or two in the kegerator in may get even better....uh if there is any left :mug:

The simplicity of BIAB is very appealing, especially if you can get great results from it. Your smash looks great! Congrats!
