just drank my first beer out of my first batch and i have to say i am hooked it tastes so much better than store bought and its much crisper and more refreshing so i am hooked.

Congrats on your first rewards of your labor. I too am new and started drinking my first batch 2 weeks ago, just bottled my second batch today (i wish i would have brewed it sooner). Welcome to your new addiction and get another batch goin!

It's always amazing to have your first beer and realize it tastes like... beer!

I was always surprised I could make something like that when I first started.

Yeah,it's great after obsessing over every little thing on that 1st batch. Then,when all is said & done,you have a decent beer in your hand! Even my wife loved my 1st one. Gunna go back to that one & add some hops for a house brew. Maybe some steeping grains too.
