Got out of home brewing, and just getting back in after 17 years. Started simple with a light/pale ale. Water bath cooled the wort last night and this morning went down to Lowes for 3/8" copper tubing:)

Awesome. I thought the 5(ish) years I took off was a long time..... Never been a better time to brew. There is SO MUCH information, quality ingredients, etc. now as compared to 1997.... I started brewing in about 1997 and I can't believe how much stuff has changed over the years.

Hope it all goes well for you and your beer turns out great!

I dropped out for about 10 years and found that post-internet homebrewing has been much easier!
Most definitely. There is also a lot of new ways of doing things like using Starsan instead of bleach:ban: BIAB I could go on and on. I spent the first month of so after I joined this forum just trolling threads and watching you tube videos.
