After a few extract kits i've decided i want to try an AG. Problem is i live in an apartment with and electric stove and minimal room. So i did some searching and decided that a small BIAB would be my best bet. After looking into beersmith2 i downloaded it and it has a "mini-BIAB" option and you can put mash tun volume to 0. (i dont have one) I have a 5 gallon brew pot a bucket and a glass carboy. Just the basics. I made a recipe then tweaked it with the aid of LHB guy and his inventory. Here is what i have. Let me know what you guys think. Main questions i have are, is this grain bill going to be possible in a 5 gallon pot, should i have a lower start volume and bring to proper volume with sparge water before boil? Thanks guys
This is for a 3 gallon batch by the way.

Maverick - I think you set your mash volume in beersmith2 to the same as your boil pot volume for BIAB. Look at some of the other BIAB equipment profiles in beersmith2 and you will see what I mean.

You are clearly more advanced in Beersmith than I am. I changed all the mash tun measurements to zero. I dont notice anything that it changed or how you even knew that i had it set a certain way. What should have changed?

Hey Maverick i also live in an apartment (where the GF is not to fond of my big beer mess) and did my first all grain 2 weeks ago. It went fine on the stove, i recommended buying a cooler and make a mash tun its pretty easy and cheap. Makes it alot more fun, for me anyway.
