Ok I have a friends that asked me to brew my Scotch Ale for his wedding. I have never done a 10gal batch do I need to just dubbel the recipe that I have or is there anything eles I need to know befor I do this?

Plan for more time. It takes more time to heat more liquid for both mash and boil. Chill obviously will also take longer.

Other than that there is very little difference (imo) between five and ten gallon batches.

I took haven't noticed much difference other than a slight efficiency decrease which I think is just due to different equipment. I get low 70s on 5 gallon batches and high 60s on 10 gallon batches. I can't pinpoint the difference other than maybe not stirring it as much as is needed. I BIAB by the way.
