Hi all, I hope that someone could help me....

I've just made myself a wooden cider press with untreated timber, can someone tell me what would be the best product to use to finish the timber?
I was going to varnish the main framework, and use something like boiled linseed oil for the barrel and the collection tray. Is this wise, or should I use something else that is food grade for the parts that contact the juice?

Thanks in advance for your help.
