Got really tired of ice water baths... Although I could chill it to pitching temp in a little over an hour, it was a PITA.

Enter Homebrewing.org with a 50' stainless IC for $90. Sold.

Just chilled 6 gallons of a big stout from boiling to 65F in 10 minutes!:rockin:

Just felt the need to share!

I didn't realize you were doing ice baths! What a pain.

I got a CFC about two years ago, but kept my old IC "just in case". I loved using it, and with our cold tap water I can get to pitching temps really fast. Today I chilled 10 gallons of wort to 68 degrees in one pass with my March pump.

That's the one great thing about living in a cold climate I guess- ice cold tap water.

Yep, I was "one of those guys"!

The spigot outside at this time of year pushed 45F water - I am still smiling about the time savings!
