Well my first batch went into the bottles this weekend. It has been painful waiting and now I have to wait another 3 weeks...ouch.
I made a cream ale, 2 weeks in primary, 2 weeks in secondary. I did taste it during bottling and was suprised at how good it tasted, although flat and not carbed.
A couple of things I have learned:
1. Wait and don't worry.
2. Get another brew going ASAP - which I did - a British Pale Ale.
3. Although my fermentation temps were a little high (72 - 75 initially) - it still came out well.
4. When in doubt, search these forums and I did. From cold crashing to bottling (Revvy) and everything in between.
5. This is fun. I forsee 100 or so gallons in my future before the year is done
Appreciate the help. I'll get a picture of one once I pop the top in 3 weeks
