It's not quite ready, but usable as is. Still needs a dedicated 16A socket next to where the kettle will be and proper exhaust, for now i'll just run a cord from the washingmachine spot and open a window :)

Electric kettle will go on the lower bench next to the window, so it is the exact right height for dumping straight into a fermenter(I don't cool in the kettle, steel fermenters, so just dump them straight into an icebath instead.
stove will stay for heating sparging water and dishwasher for bottling, decent sized workbench for ingredient measuring etc. IMG_20210617_184537345_HDR - Copy.jpgIMG_20210617_193824558_HDR - Copy.jpgIMG_20210617_193836390 - Copy.jpgIMG_20210617_193851223_HDR - Copy.jpgIMG_20210617_193909540_HDR.jpg

Nice space. Is that like an in-law apartment area? Or like a secondary kitchen in the house?
the house used to be 2 apartements, we've been waiting till our neighbours/sub-letters found their own place for a while now, that used to be our old kitchen, while their old one is now the new(and bigger) kitchen.

First brewday in my new brewery, everything went well and while there will be some things still to do, like a proper socket near the kettle and extractor, it was pretty decent:
table was just perfect for ingredients, measuring etc.

Kettle fits well in it's spot and just the right height.

good boil and while the window sadly opens the wrong way, it still extracts most of the steam

perfect height for dumping the wort straight into the fermenter(I don't cool in the kettle)

no fermentation chamber in the brewery(yet), so still have to bring it to the sauna for cooling and fermentation
