i used to do renovation work, love seeing the pics start to finish. nicely done looks great!
Thanks man. Before I started, I loved seeing the (during) pics of other people's constructions. You get a much better idea. So that's pretty much why I took them. It might give other people ideas to build different things.

how big is the space you had to work with? looks like you didn't have to cut that much tile except going towards the wall which is good. i wish i took progress pictures of the recent bathroom renovation i got done it came out great...it was old and long overdue

I had about 6x10 to work with.

And now the connecting of all the wires. I passed a new cable from the box to the cellar so that the unit would have it's own breaker.

awesome work man, looks great!

did you get a kit or pre-built racking or build it from scratch?
Cheers!

Ready to close up the interior now.
Ceiling's first

and the walls...

Now the fun begins.. Onto the racking..

The end.

Really nice work.

I also appreciate how you strategically built it right next to your home office.

I meant to talk to you about this at FoFa! How could I forget.... thanks for posting the pics again. Wanting to do something similar with my new basement but need time to envision what I'm gonna do with the overall space. :p

I work in construction. A lot was new to me but when you get started, it's pretty straight forward. Some **** took more time since I don't do that all the time though
Cool. I did construction for 3 years but not enough to feel comfortable taking on a project on my own... I also did home theaters, light control and home automation for a few years and now burglar alarm systems and cameras. How'd u end up in a home office doing construction?? You in architecture or design?

I actually call it my office but i'm just a computer geek. No actual work gets done there aside from beer recipes :D

rest of the time it's like everyone else. (Games, movies, music, porn etc..)

Plum showers is the realest work I can think of, I still dream of that beer. Was a highlight of WFC for me.
