OG was 1.051 and FG was supposed to be 1.010,but came in at 1.005. Yes, it netted me a higher ABV, but there are times when I do want a lower value for my personal consumption ... like my summer mowed-the-lawn brew.

I brew with a Grainfather, Brewinwater and Beersmith and have usually hit pretty damn close to the marks. The yeast was just good ole 05, but I do oxygenate before the pitch.

I use a digital refrac that I zero out, and take multiple readings, so I'm pretty confident the gravity readings were right on or close.

Previous batches have been FG low, too, by a couple points, but not this "bad".

Thanks in advance!
