Hey guys. I got a three gallon keg from Midwest. Can I just fill it and carb it in the keg,, just put the beer in and the priming sugar? for.now, I don't have my gas tank yet but the beer needs to get out of my fermenter.

That will work just fine as long as the lid seals with no pressure in the keg. It should seal fine if its a new keg but i would put some keg lube on that o-ring for some extra insurance.

Find a priming calculator so you dont over prime in the keg and leave it to condition for 3 weeks at room temperature just as you would with bottles.
