Brewed up my first lager today, a munich dunkel. Wish I could say that it went without a hitch, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.
As my wort was reaching pitching temp, the end of my immersion chiller hit a dirty rag and sprayed some water into the kettle. I quickly pitched the yeast and put it in my fermentation chamber.
I am hoping that my yeast will be able to fight off any bacteria that got in the beer. But I was wondering if there is anything that I can do from here to help give my beer a fighting chance, or do I just need to sit back and keep my fingers crossed?
