Looking like I'm gonna be a Friday.

Should I light out of work early to come line up at open? If one of the beers was Deth by Vanilla then obviously yes, show up at like 10 AM. But I'm guessing Rev gonna Rev and you can come get it at like 9 PM and be fine.

IDK, the Coffee Eugene release was a lot more hectic than id have imagined.

I'd anticipate this to be even more crowded

Need that TB exclusive Intel from beeraficionado.
The three featured beers will be tapped at the Brewpub upon opening for lunch Friday. Not a bad way to painlessly try them first, if you don't have work. Those will also be on draft at the Tap Room at 2pm when packaged sales start, with the specialty ones hitting at 5pm.

The variants that blew quickly last year were because there was only 1 sixtel made. The least we have of any variant this year is 2 half barrels per day, so 6x as much.

We have 16 draft lines and it will be 2 replicas of the 8 beers, so each can be poured by two bartenders simultaneously. There will also be a third bar by the flag. Cash only, all pours $6, should make things move pretty fast.

All tables and chairs will be removed, and replaced with barrel tables to create more space

Packaged beer will be a completely separate entrance and exit as the party. I believe there will be 7 terminals, each with a picker and a person working the POS system. Cross of Gold, Fist City and Rev Pils cans will be sold in line.

The challenge is the size of the room, which holds about 300 people, but you should be able to turn people pretty fast. Saturday in particular, it will run all day, and i dont see most people staying more than say 2 hours or so.

Cherry 4-packs will be 1 per person, about 650 available for each day. Cafe is 4 per person, and a little over 4x the quantity.

How bout beeraficionado throw the board a bone the way he does dontdrinkbeer ? Like I wanna wait in line with beer nerds in a ****** November in Chicago.
I missed that assist on the BA Milk Eyed Mender :(

Not going to be able to hit either day this weekend

Some tentative MSRP pricing for BCBS:

Reg - $12
Coffee/BW - $15
Prop/Northwoods - $25
Reserve - $26

$3 increase across Reg, Coffee and BW is quite the greedy cash grab.
Cash grab seems to be Bruery and FFF-level pricing on Reserve. That's a $35 bomber right there.

I miss the 4-packs so much. :(
Or the $12-14 bottles of King Henry.

Thankfully, some other Chicago brewery is doing 4-packs of 12oz BA stuff... and in can form...
