Hi everyone
My friend just tried the new wit/IPA/fruit mix known as "Fiat Lux" from Brooklyn Brewery. Normally not a Brooklyn fan (in many ways) but he said this one was unique and frankly... awesome. 70% wit, 30% floral but light IPA with a lime finish was his description. Sounded awesome to me and we went in search of a clone recipe. Alas, it is apparently so new that search engines return more hits on Fiat car dealerships in Brooklyn than on the beer. The website lists ingredients:
Malts: Canadian and American two-row malts, American Madsen un-malted white winter wheat
Additions: Lime peel, Indian coriander
Hops: Cascade, Chinook, Columbus, Centennial, Perle
Yeast: Levure Belgique
Alcohol by Volume: 6.1%
If anyone knows of a possible clone recipe (we are amateur extract-types) it would be greatly appreciated. Or for you more experienced brewers, if you know what may work, also much appreciated :rockin:
Thanks!
