Brewed an Imperial Stout to an OG of 1.117. Appears based on Brewer’s Friend it should finish near 1.028, however it has slowed to a crawl at 1.041. If it steadies here is the FG too high? Or should I repurchase some yeast? And if repitch is there a trick to it? Thanks

Without more information, I'm at a loss as to what to advise. I need to know how long it has been fermenting and what temperature it has been fermenting at and how long it was at that temperature.

It got away from me at start and went to 82 degrees for 12 hours or so over night. Then got it back down to 69 where it stayed for 36 hours before its stall. Still at 1.041.
