Has anyone with a Fermostat found a way to lengthen the probe cable? I spoke with the company and they have had some requests for a longer cable, sounds like they will eventually make and sell one, but not sure when. It looks like a proprietary cable to me but I don't know a lot about electronics, so for all I know it could be a standard cable that one can buy longer versions of.
I ferment in an upright freezer and as it is now, the cable is so short I have to put the unit on top of the freezer and stand on a stool to view it.
