Fermentor blow out

Help! Even with a blow off tube the krausen on my stout is blowing the lid off the fermenting bucket. What should I do?

Clean up the blow-off, remove the lid, use a sanitized large spoon to to-crop some of the scuz and replace the lid. Should be fine.
