Hi,

This is my first brew and I got this recipe from the internet

I used
1-3 ptotatoes cut to small cubes
2-3 small bottles (250 ml) of water
3-150 ml of a cup filled with sugar
4-some malt drink (No alcohol)
50 ml of cup filled with yeast

I poured the water into pressure cooker and put the cubes of potatoes into it and heated it for about 15-30 mins until the potatoes smashed.

Then i put the sugar into the malt drink and and put some hot water to it. Then I put yeast and mixed it together. then i covered it with plastic bag and left it for 10 mins and waited for potatoe mixture to cool.

Then i poired the yeast mixture into the potatoe mixture and covered it with plastic bag and kept it in dark area with normal room temp about 29 c

After 2 hours i checked the mixture and there was bubble with smell of gas ( i think it is ethanol) looks like cologne. The bubble has great sound and didn;t stop after i checked after 4 hrs.

My question is how long should i wait for the mixture to ferment if i don't want to get much alcohol in my drink 5 % is enough
