I need some feedback quick on this matter. Went out of town this weekend and left 5 gal of german alt and 6 gal of wine in spare fridge. Thought temp. was set at 70 deg. when I left the house. When I came home Sun. night the temp. was 80 deg. and may have been that way for at leat 30 to 36 hrs. Question: Will temps that high destroy my creations or will they be OK? They are both in secondary fermentation and are usually in the house chilling out in the spare bathroom tub. Please help I'm a bit concerned...Thanks, Dave. :(

Hurt? Yes. Destroy? No. The wine will probably show the damage more. It will probably have a bit of a sherry flavor.

Don't know about the wine but the beer may exhibit some undesirable fruity esthers but thats about it, not great but still drinkable depending on what you are brewing ?
