I picked up a fridge on cl last week so i could stop doing the whole ice bath thing. The warmest this fridge will go is about 47 degrees. I ordered the aquarium temp controller so i can do the build from this site but until it arrive can i mannualy turn the fridge on for a couple hours and then turn it off? About how many hours on and how many off to maintain ferm temps?

Thats something only you'll be able to figure out by expermenting with it I would guess.

well the only way to do it reliably is with a temp controller. There should be a set screw somewhere near your thermostat where you can adjust the temp so it will run warmer.

I would stick with the swamp cooler method with this batch until you get your temp controller up and running though.

sorry.
