Fermentation chiller build queston

Looking to build son of fermentation chiller and was thinking of how to glue the insulation. Will construction adhesive melt the styrofoam? Do I need a special glue?

There are special adhesives for styrofoam. Stuff like silicon caulks will melt foam. Found this out trying to fix a crack in a minnow bucket.
