I thought I would share my efforts so far on my brand new fermentation chamber. It's a 4x4x4 box with 6" r-20 insulation, a 5500 BTU air conditioner and a little space heater, as it is in a garage and might need a little heating for ales at some point. I am using a night light attached to the AC temp probe, which I saw another guy do and thought it was genius. The night light is then controlled by a temp controller.

This is part of my low-budget 1bbl brewery that I will share once it's all assembled. :rockin:

Looks nice.

A couple questions:

Is the only way to access the inside through the top?
What are you fermenting in? I am guessing conicals that will not need to be moved?

I would like to have conicals eventually but for right now I will be using big plastic jugs/garbage cans. I have a self-priming pump for transferring to secondary or kegs.

Edit: Yes, you have to go in through the top.
