Hello all. Sorry if this has been asked before.

My basement is rather cool (60f-65f). From what I have read that is a bit cooler than ideal.

I have two brewpi ferm chambers I use for my beer. They are both setup to heat or cool very accurately.

Would the kombucha fermentation be suffocated in the fridge? Anyone use a temp controlled chamber for kombucha with success?

I have a reptile heater with a rheostat and wrap my crock with refletix and by trial I found the setting to keep it at 75* which is where I like it. this set up went to 80* while setting up so I know you could dial it into your preferred temps. Got it on Amazon for 12$ (don't know how to link so don't ask) I don't even bring my drink into the brewery on brew day,and none of the booch equipment or bottles or cleaning stuff cross!

I settled on something very similar. I grabbed a fermwrap and temporarily connected it to one of my brew pi systems on the counter. I ordered an stc-1000 for the longer term so I can return the brewpi to the beer system.
