I just bottled a Copppers Australian Bitter ( it was on sale ), I steeped some sassafrass to add some character and dry hopped with 1oz fuggles. I just bottled lastnight and tasted it...I loved it...very bitter. I could just taste the sassafrass. I love the added aroma of the fuggles. But as Bowtiebrewery pointed out they are earthy...in my case it's exactly what i was looking for. Not sure about them in an IPA but i've never tried it. Loved them in my Bitter though, maybe if i make this again i would dry hop with 2oz, but it was a first for me so i held back...Good Luck!
