So, my control box is at the point where I need to program a PID. It has been there all day because my brain is being very dense and none of the setup instructions makes a single bit of sense to me. I know this has been done before so somewhere on this site there has to be some simple instructions to setup this Sestos D1S that I bought 6 years ago. Its purpose will be to control the element in the HLT.
So, could anyone point me in the right direction, please?
There may be more questions coming... I have a Rex C100 coming tomorrow.

There isn't much to it.
If the temperature input looks right then you just need to auto tune it.
Fill the kettle with water to your normal brew level, set your normal temp, and turn on the auto tune.
Instructions for this is on page 3, operating procedures step 3.
When it is done you are ready to brew; ignore 3-5 going forward unless you change the size of your vessel or element.

Thanks for the instructions. I still haven't programmed it because I took the box apart (twice) to make improvements to its safety.
