I can't get the slightest bit of air through my nose, my eyes are burning like I'm tired and I feel like my head is full of hot air. I hate getting a cold and I can't enjoy my beers. I guess this would be a good time to finish off my failure of a pumpkin ale though.

here's the real fly in yer ointment, Chris: I had your "AW" at lunch today with some bbq. Holy crap, it was good. Too bad you can't enjoy one. Too bad. ;)

I can solve this. I will come get your beer and enjoy it for ya. I can be really descriptive! *grin* BTW we both LOVE the trippel

Glad ya liked it. Just between Jen myself and you two coming over for a few pints that keg is bout to float. It hasn't even made 3 weeks yet. Need to start the next couple batches.

hell yea, I might just pour out my dang pumpkin and fill that keg with my IIPA. I really need something hoppy to work with.

I have GOT to make that one. DEAD ON no bananna and VERY mellow clove. Finnished nice and sweet!

I'm feeling the same way today. Had to stay home from work anyway to get my tire fixed, but I've felt like crap all day. This is the second time this month for me. I don't think the first one cleared up completely.

Nice, it's probably faded and created a whole new character for itserlf. When it was young the banana was quite prevelant, which that 3068 yeast is famous for, but it's gotta be 8 weeks in the bottle now. I did keep the temp below 70 the whole time though, so that could be part of the low banana as well.

I loved that beer, tapped the keg with very little help from anyone else!

It sounds weird but I swear the last sip tasted like honey......really smooth sheit

I've always found beer (or any alcohol) aggravates the congestion. On the other hand, enough alcohol & you might not care so much.

I've been drinking very little since I got sick. I had one with my lunch yesterday because the medicine had cleared it up a bit, but went to bed at 8:30 last night. Feeling a good bit better this morning though. I've been pounding vitamin c w/ water and a couple different cold and allergy medicines that use different ingredients. I think I should be feeling a lot better tommorow.
