I have this issue when removing my collection ball during primary to secondary that I lose my o'ring from the valve. Does this happen to most of you? Also should I put tefflon tape on the tread of the valve that connects to the collection ball?

Great thread. Loads of info. I'll second what jbb3 said up above. I myself have never had an issue with the valve o-ring, but many have and do. As for the tefflon question, only apply tape to "white thread", never grey.
