Sometimes you need a morning Tome while you brew. Sometimes you had too much Scotch the night before and you need to get the hair off. Sometimes it’s both.

What’s the best by date?I think I got this at an awkward time...menthol and alcohol burn were predominant...don’t get me wrong, I would drink again, but what does some age do here?

The older magic ghost gets, the more i dont like it. At least that was the case with the OG batch. With every passing year it seemingly became more tannic/astringent

Had to open a Magic Ghost to confirm. Best by 2019 batch, Lot 2A 1O 16 is tasty: herbal, a bit minty, dry, fruity, very tea-like. I've had recent Magic Ghosts pour that muddy brown. Specifically, the batch made in January '17 that was on Etre for a long time. I love Magic Ghost, so I loaded up on that batch. It was a horrendous mistake by me.
Edit: The pours get more green as you get to the dregs. Definitely Magic Ghost.
Based on other comments I opened mine from the same batch number. Definitely what I expect from Magic Ghost colorwise. Anyone know what gives the green hue?Sorel perhaps?View attachment 827
