I am getting Concord 60 quart pots. They are apparently the same kettles used by spikebrewing and said to be measured at 17" diameter. What do folks recommend for a false bottom? I'm looking to keep expenses down as Mich as possible without sacrificing quality.

I have a 25 gallon Concord, and I am planning to make one from a 14-16 inch deep dish pizza pan, as I did for my old 5 gallon round cooler, only that was something like a 6 inch.

I can give you some details on how I done it if your interested.

I ended up going with a 12" domed false bottom from morebeer and it works great.
