Below is a first draft of a saison for the fall. It is loosely based off of the Saison Automne recipe from a Zymurgy article. Is the 2 lbs of dark brown sugar too much for this brew? I will be re-pitching Wyeast 3726 Farmhouse Ale.

Ingredients
Amt Name Type # %/IBU
12 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) Grain 1 73.8 %
1 lbs Special B (Dingemans) (147.5 SRM) Grain 2 6.2 %
1 lbs Wheat - White Malt (Briess) (2.3 SRM) Grain 3 6.2 %
4.0 oz Caramel Malt - 40L (Briess) (40.0 SRM) Grain 4 1.5 %
2 lbs Brown Sugar, Dark (50.0 SRM) Sugar 5 12.3 %
15.00 g Warrior [15.00 %] - Boil 60.0 min Hop 6 21.8 IBUs
28.00 g Styrian Goldings [3.50 %] - Boil 15.0 min Hop 7 4.7 IBUs

Man do I love Saisons!, this one is quite different from any Saison Ive seen but it looks like a good (Very Strong!) Beer
Good Luck!

It is a big one. OG is aroung 1.082

NICE! taking another look at your ingredients, I would definitley leave the 2 lbs Dark Brown Sugar as is, it seems to me as whats gonna really make this a Fall/Winter beer; Slight butterscotch flavor with a mild caramel aroma and not to mention, the added alcohol content! I can so imagine sipping this indoors on a chilly fall evening.

I never used saison yeast, but that seems like a lot of special B for a recipe plus more carmel malt
