Falconers flight? Have you tried it?

I was looking at falconers flight hops and they sound like a great hop but I don't think I've ever seen any recipes that use them. Have you tried them? I was thinking about doing a pale ale with cascade as a bittering hop and then using 2 oz of falconers flight as late editions with ,5oz like 15,10,5,0. Any thoughts?

I used them as a sub when I couldn't get Citra for a Belgian IPA. Tasted great!

I use about 2lbs per year. I make a west coast amber ale that is 100% falconers flight. 6 ounces per batch. I think it is a great hop. I also go through about 2lbs of falconers flight 7 C's that I use for an american pale ale. I think you will like them.

Falconers flight isn't "a" hop. It's a blend of american hops.

Personally, I think they are a great "filler" hop. It basically checks all the boxes - citrus, floral, pine - and provides a nice balance.

That is kind of the nice thing about them - simple. You get a good mix of flavors without opening 6 bags of hops.

I brewed an IPA a couple months ago that used a blend of Falconer's Flight, Citra and Mosaic, 2 ox of each, split three ways and put in at 10, 5 and flameout.
Add a dryhop of 2 oz Cascade, I'm very happy how that came out.
Major citrus flavors going on.

Falconers Flight Extra IPA is a Brewers Best kit I tried last year some time. I've been hooked since and brew a batch every couple months. Millenium for bittering and all Falconers Flight after that. It's good stuff.
