Yeh nice advice moron.
The only one primitive here is yourself if you think hitting children will teach them a lesson. Maybe your dad hit you a bit too hard?
A punch is different than getting spanked.

No you didn't strike a nerve. It's pathetic to me that the majority of our society's children sent disciplined and you see the results. We have parents too wrapped up in their own lives to take the time to raise their children right and teach them to be respectful and how to act. I get tired of seeing kids completely disrespect their parents and adults in general. I'm tired of seeing these snot nosed kids throw fits when they don't get what they want. I'm tire of seeing parents not yeah their kids to have any kind I work ethic or discipline at all.
You are way out of line. I have a 2 year old who isn't even old enough to really understand how punishment of practically any kind works. Spanking is a last means to get their attention when they don't respond to anything else. How dare you accuse me of abusing my child.
I'm done with this. My apologies for my part in derailing this thread.
they suck!! (ISP) Why don't they just prevent traffic to these sites?
It's illegal and for good reason. We don't need our government controlling what we're allowed to do or see online. As a matter of fact myself as well as several other people just got a few bills dropped from the Senate and the House that would have done just that.
I encourage you to not voluntarily give up your freedoms.

Cromwell said:Wow. You all scare me. Seriously scare me. Anyone who thinks hitting a 20 year old kid is the right way to teach her the difference between right and wrong is seriously messed up.
I' In the meantime, I have to write a letter explaining what measures have been taken to remove the illegal files and ensure against repeat violations.

You could just be sending them an admission of guilt.
I'm going to drop this so as not to threadjack, but whichever way you slice it your privacy is being infringed on. Its not legal for a private company to snoop on people
Seriously, you pretty much have to download gigs & gigs of stuff for them to notice, so they were probably downloading tons of movies. That'll get you flagged quickly.
Steve I'd be careful about what you 'admit' to the ISP. It could be used against you down the road.
As for how to deal with your daughter...fire up the pizza oven, take her out back, have her computer sitting next to the oven. After she freaks out...throw her mouse into the oven. Tell her if it happens again...the whole pc goes in...
...that or a horse head in the bed always seems to get the message across.

Tell them you had a virus/Trojan that did it. Tell them you replaced then PC with a TV to prevent the problem.
