Extra hops in kit

Hey guys

I bought a Brewers best black ipa kit. The kit includes an ounce of German Polaris and four one ounce packs of centennial. The brew schedule says, though to use one ounce of centennial @ 15 mins remaining and another @ 5. The ingredient list shows all four packs of centennial. I can't understand why theI would include hops in the kit and not use them in the recipe. Am I missing something here?

The other hops may be for dry-hopping. It is an IPA, after all, and Centennial is a good hop for that.

Look on the back side of the instruction sheet. Between the step for fermentation and the step for bottling, there should be a step listed for dry-hopping. I'm pretty sure that it'll say to add the other 2 oz. for that.
