So I just got my new STC1000+, and have been tinkering with it for the past few days. As I was learning how to use it, it occurred to me that my brewbelt power cord is too short to be plugged into the controller outside and also wrap around my bucket inside the chest freezer. Any suggestions? Is this just a simple fix of using an extension cord?

I'd have to draw something, its not really set up yet. My issue would be being able to have the controller be outside of the chest freezer and for the brewbelt to be able to reach the bucket inside of the chest freezer.

You'll probably need to find a flat extension cord, a thick one would prevent a good seal from forming if you tried to go in under the door. The cord head is probably going to be too thick to go through the drain (if your CF has one). Not sure how condensation + extension cord head will work out either. My ITC-1000 build is velcroed to the side of my chest freezer, you may be able to position yours to where you wouldn't need to run an extension cord.
