Being the coffee and beer connoisseur that I am (not in any particualar order) this caught my attention. Has anyone brewed a batch of this? If so how'd it turn out?
In fact, I did. It came out pretty well, but I felt it could have been better (my personal shortcomings, not the recipe's fault). I brewed espresso and added it a couple ounces at a time at kegging until it tasted about right. In retrospect, I wish I had gone with a couple more ounces beyond that as the coffee aspect has become quite subdued. An espresso stout or porter is definitely a worthwhile project IMO.El Pistolero said:I think BeeGee did the Lagunitas clone out of BYO, didn't you beeg? Don't have my notes out here with me, but as I recall it was ~6 double shots, so 12 oz. Think it would have been better with ~16oz as Walker indicates.El Pistolero said:How much espresso did you end up using?
