Anyone have experience doing custom orders with Toledo Metal Spinning?
Their stock hoppers are enticing, but it would be great to have them weld on a couple TC ports to make a custom fermentor. Before I go to the trouble of making up proper drawings for a quote, what sort of cost should I expect for something like that in the 3 - 5 gallon range? Should I expect multiples higher than the stock cost?
I've never had custom stainless steel work done before. So if it's common to send the TC welding work to another shop, I'm all ears on that sort of advice as well.
