-------------------------------------------------
Press Release, August 21st, 2017

Kegconnection, LLC is excited to announce the acquisition of HomebrewSupply.com! We have genuinely admired the positive impact HomebrewSupply.com has had within our industry these last few years and understand that their customers expect exceptional products and service, which we intend on building upon. The website, HomebrewSupply.com, will be restocked and back to filling orders over the next two weeks. Our current timeline includes HomebrewSupply.com having a soft relaunch as quickly as possible and then a grand re-opening event when all fulfillment is fully back online.

A very large aspect of our many goals for this acquisition is to bring back all of the popular brewing kits and approximately 90% of the items that HomebrewSupply.com has carried. Alongside this, we will also be greatly enhancing their draft beer equipment section to better offer Homebrew Supply customers a wider variety of equipment and kit options.

We are also excited to announce that Ladik Joe Ermis will be joining our team! As many of you already know, Joe is an avid homebrewer and has been with HomebrewSupply.com since the company’s grand opening. Joe has also been involved with many aspects of the business and will definitely be staying involved with customer service and maintaining that which HomebrewSupply.com customers have grown to love.

Kegconnection, LLC (www.kegconnection.com) started in 2006, also in San Marcos, TX, and is now located in Comanche, TX. We have been an industry leader in the draft beer equipment side of the homebrew market and believe that the acquisition of HomebrewSupply.com will allow us to better serve all of our customers by bringing additional depth and experience to both websites. Both websites share an enthusiasm and exceptional zeal for customer service that we’ll be expanding on even more through additional content, in-depth how to videos, podcasts, and other beneficial and informational content!

Your patience and support is greatly appreciated while we get HombrewSupply.com fulfillment moved and increase the website’s inventory. We are committed to continuing development of the website and are excited at what we’ll soon be offering to you! HomebrewSupply.com will operate as an independent website that is supported by Kegconnection, LLC’s fulfillment team. The staff from Kegconnection and Homebrew Supply thank you for your business and look forward to working together to serve you even better in the future!

Sincerely,

Kegconnection and Homebrew Supply staff

&

Todd Burns President, Kegconnection LLC

Great news Todd! Two of my go-to companies are now one. I'm happy for the past owner as well as you as the new owner, and it seems like a good match.

Please give Joe a big kiss from me (on the lips, if you please) and tell him I said "Hello". Or you could just say hi from me, of course, but it's not as dramatic as the kiss would be.

Congrats and best wishes to you!

Congrats and get Yooper's kiss on video!

Now do i wait to see what the relaunch sale is or pull the trigger through Spike for 15 gal kettle and get a shot at it free? If only someone could drop a hint at what type of promo will happen?...

Any update on the status of orders placed when the 60% warehouse liquidation sale was happening? I placed on order on the 7th...status still shows "processing".

If you call Joe at our office line, 1-877-800-2294 , he'll get you sorted out. I'm fairly confident that all orders on the site that hadn't been fulfilled were cancelled and refunded, but Joe can confirm or correct. So sorry for the inconvenience but we're doing our best to get the transition done speedily and have HBS fully operating ASAP!

I got a refund notification today. No worries. Looking forward to seeing what the new store is like. Good luck!

So will you guys still have the best pricing on wine kits on the market?
Keg Connection doesn't really profit any off of wine; no one kegs wine.

Well..................I have 7 "wine only" kegs so I wouldn't say "no one" kegs wine. :p

Right now, I have two three gallon kegs with a Super Tuscan kit (bought from Homebrewsupply), and four 5 gallon kegs with various white wines (apple, crabapple). I don't carbonate them- I use just enough c02 to push them out to serve. Reds are upstairs at 65 degrees, whites are in the basement in the 40s.

I still bottle some wines that I want to give as gifts, but kegs are the perfect wine storage vessel. Stainless, not permeable to light, not susceptible to oxidation, and you can serve right out of the container to a decanter. The whites in the basement have been in the same kegs for at least two years and are still perfect.

Great pitch! Reason to keep selling wine kits at the best prices!

Like box wine, only bigger. :) Not such a crazy idea, really.
