European Yeast Search- U Fleku brewery, Czech repub.

anybody happen to have a line on this yeast? or maybe know someone who might? it might possibly be the same as the old CL-680 yeast from brewtek way back in the day.

hoping i can track down someone who has some of this stuff, as opposed to waiting for somebody to wind up in Prague on vacation. im guessing paying for overnight fedex shipping will still be cheaper than flying my ass out there.

its interesting, it comes from a brewery in holesovice which is apparently a neighborhood of prague. so close, but not that close. there are 3 deposited from the same person, o. bendova, who was apparently the first woman director of the beer institute there. one says its from a bratislava brewery, and then two from holesovice, which seem to the be same?

hard to say. i'll file that one away for now and see if we can come up with something a bit easier. they've got some expensive fees for samples, and possibly some licensing. trying each one might easily cost over a grand.
