This weekend I brewed and I am getting frustrated with my lack of volume control. I would like to get a better understanding of my losses in volume during mashing and boiling. I brew BIAB.
I have a 10 gallon boil kettle that I use for my BIAB and I was wondering if anyone knew of the best way to mark the inside of the kettle to get an understanding of volumes. I was hoping to mark gallon points on the inside. My kettle is stainless steel.
Thanks everyone and I look forward to hearing everyones thoughts.
