So, I brewed this up a while back. It was pretty dang good, but it was a little thin and I felt it could have used a slightly maltier body.

So, this is the tweak:
5.5 Gallon batch
OG/FG: 1.059/1.016

Malt:

3.0 lb Maris Otter Pale (UK)
3.0 lb Dry Malt Extract - Extra Light
3.0 lb Munich (BE)
0.5 lb Cara 45L (BE)
0.5 lb Biscuit (BE)

Hops:

1.0 oz Challenger (UK) 60 min
2.0 oz Fuggle (UK) 15 min
1.0 oz Challenger (UK) 15 min

Going to do Wyeast 1318 again since it's quickly turning into my house yeast.

Look good? I have at least 2 weeks before I go to LHBS so I have plenty of time to tweak further.
Thanks guys. :mug:

Someone on Reddit suggested I change up the crystal to something darker. Would I keep the same proportion if I went with 120 as they suggested or leave it the same?

Bump

The only reason why I'm not getting the MO extract is due to price and shipping. If this comes out well, I'll plan ahead better to replace the Extra Light extract with the MO extract or do this AG if my set up is finished being pieced together.

Don't make it too complicated. Use the equivalent of medium crystal (is that 60L in the US?) and a couple oz of something darker. Sounds pretty malty to me already. I'd drop the Biscuit too. Half a pound of Amber might help if you want more. To be fair, I add simple sugars to strong bitters to reduce body and make them more drinkable...

Change the 45 to the 60 and drop the biscuit?
