It's early, but Red Wings are near the bottom in points while our neighbors the Blackhawks are leading the league? Eff this. I need a beer.

Is that you, Drew?

Drew Sharp always has to stir the pot with gloom and doom. "The wings can't score! They are once again the Dead Things!"

Yeah, it's been like 3 games... Wings are bleeding players (literally) and have 1/2 the defense they did last year.

They will be better, but let's be honest, they will have to fight to gain that playoff spot. They really need to shoot more and get guys in front of the net to get those rebounds. And heaven forbid they play a goalie who doesn't give up rebounds!

More surprising, Toronto has won a game or two?? :drunk:

Why does everyone bitch about Flyers fans saying everything that was said on the last two pages about the Penguins, but everything that was just said didn't get nary a peep out of anyone? Just sayin...

I did that all on purpose, too. Nothin' but crickets!

Congratulations to the Leafs for winning the cup last night, oh wait ... it was just one game. :cross:

AHahahah. Don't worry maybe Malkin and Crosby can yank that Leaf-hater pickle out of your ass for you.

Funny win last night, nobody thought the Leafs would pull that off, but when you start calling yourself the new Mecca of Hockey, sometimes you need a wake-up call.

Eh, I'm more worried about the Flyers getting steam rolled by the Rags tonight.

Hartnell out indefinitely, Briere's still out, Schenn suspended 1 game ... The cupboard is bare!

Atleast if the Flyers are going to have a crappy season, it'll be a short one.

If Toronto can smoke Pittsburgh, at Pittsburgh, the Flyers have a shot against the Rags.

Considering the way the rangers played last night the flyers have a pretty good chance. The rangers will be on the penalty kill all night

Not Drew Sharp but a Drew S with the same number of letters. Crazy. And yes, I was just stirring some sh!t to get the trash talk going :ban:

And I look forward to seeing the Red Wings fighting tooth and nail for that playoff spot. Hell, I don't think the Kings had too great a season but they found a winning formula that got them through the playoffs.

The Flyers have been too, so maybe we'll see a bunch of 3-on-3.

Lol 3 on 3! Where's alexei kovalev when you need him? That guy is a stickhandling genius.

As revenge for the lockout I want to see Phoenix win the cup. can you imagine the look on Bettmans face when he realizes he has to pay for a parade, rings for all the players, etc. bet these are the first championship rings supplied by walmart

Nah. That will just tell people that "they know what they are doing!"

After handing the cup to Doan, does he then get it passed back to himself so he can parade it around the ice for a bit?

And I'm sure he can easily convince Glendale to pay for everything.

I like Doan, but really...

Assuming they make the playoffs, the Coyotes will roll over and die in the 2nd round, if not the first. It's in the team constitution and charter, one of the conditions of their entry into the NHL in 1979.

Special clauses cover playing the Oilers, Flames, Canucks - these are known as the lawnchair provision, because they cover how quickly this team must fold under the slightest pressure when in a series with any of these opponents.

The curse of Shenkarow haunts this team still...

Flyers/Rangers game has been great tonight.

That 5 on 3 kill is exactly what I've been missing in my life.

2-1 lead, division rival, 3rd period. You can see how bad they want this first win. Crowds going nuts.

I've said it before, it might be a few months late but I could not be ****ing happier that hockey is back.

Oo swmbo just bought me game center live. We can't get satellite or cable because of our rural location and thick tree canopy. I think she realizes how much we will save by not going to the bar for all my hockey games. :drunk:

that just means you have to invite all of your buds over for every game and blow thru homebrew

Flyers get a power play goal, some unreal penalty kills, Bryz looked awesome...first win of the season. Love everything about that game. Hank is the only reason that game wasn't 5-1.

Nice for the oil to get the win, I wouldnt wanna be in the kings dressing room when Sutter goes off about that penalty in ot
