the tipping point was the beginning of last season when he came out with some league wide PSA about how "guys we really need to take head hits out of the game" (because i am a soft little **** and was injured by one) - don't get me wrong, i dont think theres a place for headshots anywhere in this game... but i'll start caring when your teammate, one of the biggest offenders in the league, is out. Where's Marc Savard? ohhh that's right, he's on the Bruins desk jockey jobs now because of Matt Cooks bullsht blindside hits to the head..

how can you expect to be taken seriously with all of the stuff you pull, while being on one of the dirtiest teams in the league.. malkin and asham are just as bad.

I would never wear it, but it's funny to see people who do. Just like the people who wore bear costumes in Pittsburgh last year after Bryz said he wasn't afraid of anything except for "bear in forest."

Bruins played a decent game today, not as good as their showing against the rangers but I'm happy to see them playing as a unit.

Rask is looking sharp, I've said for awhile that he is the future of our team between him and seguins puck handling ability, the next few years could be very exciting.

I realize this is not supposed to be the polite discourse regarding hockey thread, but yeah, the Bruins played well against my Jets this afternoon. The better team won - it just took 'em 65 minutes and a shootout.

The guys are going to be hungry tomorrow, and looked WAY better today than Saturday...the Caps will have their hands full tomorrow. Personally, I would love to see Ovechin meet Buff's shoulder, several times, in a very abrupt kinda way...

11 shots on goal between the first 2 periods for Buffalo (pretty much half of what Toronto managed), and they still get 2 goals, and the game. Guess that's what happens when you make an AHL goalie your starter. :cross:

You mean the Buffalo Ryan Millers - he's the only reason (yet again) that Buffalo comes out with 2 points. Effin' guy OWNS the Maple Leafs.

Toronto wins almost every single faceoff, keeps the puck in the Buffalo zone for oh, I don't know, the entire game, and outshoots them 34-20? Also rang 2 shots of the post.

Goaltending, specifically Ryan Miller, was the difference last night. Although I must say it's quite refreshing to watch the Leafs with zero expectations.
