Hopefully the Devils go high glove on Reimer in the shootout.

They did go high glove. Fortunately for Toronto, they went 3 for 3. That last SO goal (by the call up, forget his name) was fantastic.

I'm definitely ticked the Leafs won this one - couldn't even be bothered to at least make it a decent ROW.

Just lose out fer Chrissake. Nobody's going to care too much about a few more losses to finish out this abysmal season, and YEARS of future successes could literally be depending on it!

I guess Buffalo not having a shot on goal for the first 10/15 min of the game is badly outplaying the rangers. Not to mention their first goal was extremely lucky. Pretty sure Miller having an amazing game did a little somethin for them too.

Also, not sure if u saw the highlights, the last 2 they scored, although defensive errors, should have been easy saves for Hank.

Daniel Sendin has a concussion. No word on how long he'll be out. I'm no fan of the Doublemint Twins, but it's not good to see a premier player on the IR as the result of a goonish hit. Keith should remain suspended until Sendin returns to the lineup.

Shanahan should of made an example of keith to show that no matter how clean your record is deliberately trying to take off someone's head dosnt have a place in this sport.

All that's come from this is fuel in the fire to an already hatred rivalry. What's stopping Vigneault sending out one of the many unused Canucks players to take out Teows, Kane or Bolland.

In no way would I want what i said as an 'example' to happen hell that's what we all want out of the game right?

I was stating that with the soft suspension dished out there's nothing stopping this happening with any players from any teams.

A 5 game suspension for an overworked player at this time of the year from a team who is already a guaranteed start in the playoffs is a blessing. He will come back fresh for the playoffs while Daniel will most likely be sidelined

At least a suspension was handed down. I never see anyone get suspended for the types of hits that have been discussed as something they're trying to remove from the game when they're made on Flyers players.

Why am I not surprised the Pens didn't put up the slightest bit of fight when they got beat 8-4 tonight?

There are things I like and dislike about the division winners get top seeds in the playoffs, but interesting that all 4 teams in the Atlantic are 1-4 when it comes to points in the East. No other division can put 4 of it's 5 teams in the top 4 spots and have the highest average total points.

The last two weeks are going to be interesting with the shuffling for the 7 and 8 seeds in both conferences and for the matchups.

Hurrah for you. I was busy skiing this: Yes, the Pens blew a gasket last night, it happens once in a while. I'm still feeling pretty good should the Pens play the Rangers in the playoffs. (How's the weather back in Jersey?)

And I've been a Penguins fan since they first entered the league, and remember going to a game before the Penguins with my dad (Pittsburgh Hornets). Also had season tickets in the early 70's before I moved away from Pittsburgh (job reasons). That makes me a frickin hockey expert.
